She even went out of her way to get me some instant ice packs to take to the grading day as I had picked up an additional injury and was worried about being able to ice it afterward.

“I was operated for severe scoliosis at age 13 so have a 20 cm metal rod in my back and fused spine. The spine could not be straightened completely and I therefore still have a 30-degree curve and a twist in the spine. Working at a desk all day is probably not ideal for any body but especially not for mine! Like a lot of desk slaves I build up tension in the neck. But also the curvature will tend to get worse as the week progresses. I also do a lot of running and swimming.
Biliana was a wonder, she was able to melt away the knots and release strained muscles in my neck, calves, everywhere but also, incredibly, she greatly reduced the build up of curvature, more so than I had ever experienced before! The first time I came to Biliana the curvature build up was particularly bad and when I stood up after that first massage, I could not believe how different I felt – I am used to having to think about my posture and hold myself straight but after the massage I found the build up of curvature had vanished and I just was straighter, without any effort on my part!
